WHAT IS COACHING?efinition of Coaching utilized by AG Coaching
Coaching is a developed skill set that moves the individual in personal and professional life from current reality to desired outcome through a spirit-led intentional partnership.
The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaching honors the client as the expert in his/her life and work and believes that every client is creative, resourceful, and whole. Standing on this foundation, the coach's responsibility is to:
Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve;
Encourage client self-discovery;
Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies; and
Hold the client responsible and accountable.

Catalyst

Catalyst in the SNE Ministry Network is a combination of many things. It began when a few leaders attended the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta. Following that event, those who attended began to meet around the priority of leadership.
This concept has grown to much more then the discussion of a conference. It is now a place for SNE Ministry Network leaders to encourage, challenge and resourse each other. Every couple months a larger group gathers at the District Office for a day of 'Catalyst'. As a result of these meetings, small regional groups are beginning to meet with the same goals.
